- גַּלְמוּדָאf. (preced.) (euphem.) a menstruous woman. Gen. R. s. 79, end they heard a woman say to her friend ג׳ אנא I am galmuda (for נדה), from which they learned the meaning of galmudah in Is. 49:21 (v. corr. vers. in ‘Rashi a. l.).
